Troubleshooting¶

A job ends as `failed`¶

This is a normal result, not a crash. The reason tells you what to fix:

`reason`	What it means	What to do
`unreadable_archive`	The file isn't a valid zip, or couldn't be opened safely	Re-create the zip and send it again
`unsupported_container`	We recognised the contents but don't grade that format	Send LeRobot, raw video or MCAP
`unsupported_type`	The data type isn't one we grade	Use `multiview`, `egocentric` or `fastumi`
`mixed_data_types`	The zip holds two data types	Split it into two zips and send two jobs
`too_many_episodes`	The zip holds more episodes than one job allows	Split it into smaller zips
`upload_incomplete`	The data never fully arrived, or an upload wasn't graded within 24 hours	Upload again
`grading_failed`	We couldn't grade it on our side	Contact us with the job id
`cancelled_by_customer`	You cancelled it	Nothing

You see	It means	What to do
`KeyError: 'CENTIFIC_API_KEY'`	This terminal window doesn't have your key	Load it again (API key)
`ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'centific'`	The SDK environment isn't active in this terminal	Run `.\qc-env\Scripts\Activate.ps1` (Windows) or `source qc-env/bin/activate`
`AttributeError: ... has no attribute 'upload'`	An older copy of the SDK is installed	`pip install --force-reinstall .\centific-0.1.0b1-py3-none-any.whl`
`IndexError: list index out of range`	The script needs a job id after its name	`python check_status.py qcjob_...`
`FileNotFoundError: no archive at ...`	The `dataset` path is wrong	Check the path; on Windows use `/` or `r"..."`

You see	It means	What to do
`401` / `invalid_key`	The key is wrong, revoked or expired	Create a new key (API key)
`404` on every call	Wrong `base_url` (for example the dashboard sample's `api.centific.ai`), or the API is switched off	Use `https://humanoidiq-dev.centific.com`, and open /v1/health in a browser
`402` or `403` when uploading	Your account can't start new jobs right now	Contact us

You see	It means	What to do
`the archive did not reach storage (...)`	The upload was interrupted (network drop, laptop slept)	Run it again
`upload_not_sealed`	Grading was requested before the upload finished	Wait for Upload only to finish, then grade
`upload_already_used`	That upload has already been graded	Use Check status / Get the report on the same id
`Not ready - the job is '...'`	The report doesn't exist until the job is `complete`	Wait, then try again
Job stays `uploaded`	That's expected until you grade it	Run Grade an upload
Job stays `queued` for more than 15 minutes	Our grading service may be busy or paused	Contact us with the job id

When you contact us

Always include the job id and the exact error text.
