Prepare your data¶
One zip = one job = one report¶
A zip can hold one episode or many. Either way it becomes one job and one report, with a row for each episode.
Pick the data type¶
Every zip holds one data type. Choose the one that matches your capture:
data_type |
Use it for |
|---|---|
multiview |
Several fixed cameras filming the same scene (e.g. head + left wrist + right wrist) |
egocentric |
A single head-mounted, first-person camera |
fastumi |
FastUMI / GoPro handheld-gripper captures |
Don't mix data types in one zip
If you have two kinds of capture, make two zips and send two jobs.
What can go in the zip¶
- Supported contents: LeRobot datasets, raw video (
.mp4,.mov, …) and MCAP. - Maximum size: 5 GB per zip.
- Zips made on Windows, macOS or Linux all work.
Double-check the data type for raw video and MCAP
For LeRobot data, we read the data type from the dataset itself and tell you if it doesn't match. For raw video and MCAP we can't tell, so the zip is graded as the type you declare.
Write the task description¶
The task description is one plain sentence saying what the person or robot was doing:
The task-completion check is measured against exactly this text, so describe the task, not the file.
